In her own words

A note from Shannon

I've always been drawn to the role of healer. Long before I had a license or a degree, I found myself in that role again and again — the person people turned to when things got hard. That pull toward healing became a calling I wanted to pursue with real skill and intention. For the past eight years I've had the privilege of doing that work professionally, providing care to a wonderfully diverse range of people and learning just as much from them as I hope they've learned from our work together.

Along the way I noticed something: many people are looking for a space where they don't have to perform. A space that's actually safe and authentic — where they can unpack what's been weighing on them without worrying about saying the right thing or being the right kind of client. That's the space I try to create. You set the pace. I bring an empowerment-focused and strengths-based lens that starts from a simple belief: you are the expert on your own life.

I believe every person is capable of facilitating their own growth, healing, and self-actualization when they have the right support and guidance alongside them. That belief is the foundation of how I work: person-centered, strengths-based, and rooted in the conviction that you already hold what you need to become the person you're meant to be. My role isn't to fix you. It's to walk beside you while you do the work of becoming.

The power was always yours. I'm just here to help you remember it.

Outside of practice, I'm a lover of food and music, and I find peace in the outdoors. I believe deeply in the healing power of nature and movement, and I try to let that show up in how I live, not just what I recommend to clients. I have my own therapist and mentor, and I stay in regular training and certification work because growth isn't something I ask of clients without asking it of myself too. And if you join me for a session, you may well meet my two cats, Ember and Aegon, who tend to make themselves at home on screen.
